Although it rained a couple of days last week, the second-floor framing at our house is up already. The construction crew sure worked fast. We could see where all the windows are going to be on both floors and some of the sidings are up as well.
There’s our 2-car garage on the ground floor…
Our front door on the left, and the stairs going up to the 2nd floor on the right!
Left of the stairs with that large window opening is where the dining room will be…
To the right of the stairs where that door opening is will be the study, and the powder room is right next to the study.
So fun to be able to walk inside of our house already!
Here is our future kitchen with the extended island on the front with the water pipes coming out of the ground, and the walk-in pantry in the back. The right opening is where the sliding door to the backyard is going to be.
Our walk-in pantry on the right and the little mud room on the left where the window opening is. There will be a lower cabinet below the window!

This is our Great Room – main living room…
The Great Room is on the right and the kitchen with sliding door to the backyard on the left…
I have never seen so many nails in my life… they are almost like bullets!
