It has been another 2 weeks, and now the roof trusses and radiant barriers are installed at the house! We can now say we have a roof over our head! What’s exciting about this past weekend’s visit was that we were finally able to go upstairs to the 2nd floor to see the framing of the rest of the house! With all the framing and the roof installed, it is looking more like a house now and starting this week they will be installing windows!
Once they put in the windows this week, they will finish the siding for the rest of the house.
They put in the temporary railing for the stairs since they are now working on the 2nd floor.
We could see the LP TechShield radiant barrier sheathing on the roof throughout the house! Hopefully, this will keep our house cool during the summer months, and warm during the winter.
The roof trusses are so intricate…

This is our loft upstairs… it will be a 2nd living room/media room! The laundry room is on the right side, and a wall will be on the left.
