It’s been 2 weeks since we last saw the house. It feels like forever but construction really progresses quickly, and the siding is slowly going up on certain sections of the ground floor and the 2nd floor. We found out that we have a new Construction Manager and during this transition period, there may be a 3- to 4-week delay. It’s totally fine because we are not really in a rush to move in, plus we are heading to the East Coast in April to visit family, so the new construction schedule may work out in our favor!
The great room is on the left and the dining room on the right. Loving all the wide openings where the windows are going to be!
Didn’t realize that Darren took this photo of me from across the house, but I was writing a bible verse on the wood beam at our front entrance…
Close up of the bible verse that I wrote: “You will be blessed when you go in and blessed when you go out.” – Deuteronomy 28:6
Writing another verse in our kitchen on the island – “Give us this day our daily bread.” – Matthew 6:11
The next step is putting up the roof trusses that are laid flat on the 2nd floor right now (top left and right corner)…
